Leslee Murphy, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in women's health issues including infertility, depression & anxiety, pregnancy loss, post partum mood disorders, adoption and high-risk pregnancy. Leslee also provides evaluations and consultations in the field of third-party reproduction, including oocyte donation, embryo donation, donor insemination and gestational carrier arrangements. She has provided counseling, education and support to individuals, families and groups for 18 years. Leslee's expertise in the field of fertility stems from a unique combination of both personal and professional experience.
Leslee is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (Mental Health Professional Group) and RESOLVE, where she has recently been appointed to the national Support Group Oversight Committee. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and enjoys providing clinical supervision to other social workers in the field. Leslee received her Bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin and her Master's degree in Social Work from Florida State University.
Leslee serves as a mental health consultant for Houston IVF and enjoys close working relationships with several other fertility clinics and ob-gyn practices in the Houston area. She operates a private practice in the Memorial area, where she offers individual and couples counseling, psycho-educational consults and psychological evaluations. Counseling sessions may focus on managing stress & anxiety, enhancing communication & relationships; facilitating decision-making & goal setting and resolving grief & coping with loss/depression.
